Qualified Opportunity Funds (QOFs)

QOFs are investment vehicles designed to invest in QOZ properties. They must be certified or self-certified, with 90% of assets in a QOZ. These funds can invest in real estate, company stocks, and business partnerships within QOZs.

 

Selection and Criteria

The IRS lists over 8,760 QOZs across all states and territories. Criteria include a poverty rate of 20% or more and median family income thresholds.
